A Wedding Video for a Wedding Videographer – Hilltop Country House, Macclesfield

//A Wedding Video for a Wedding Videographer – Hilltop Country House, Macclesfield

Nerves before the Wedding Day

Out of all the wedding videos that Vivid Weddings have produced, this wedding would be the only one I had a little trepidation about. This was not to do with unruly families or that the wedding was being held on top of a cliff face (I have a fear of heights to explain). It was more that we were chosen to film the wedding of a very respected wedding videographer. Tom Harrington from Tom Harrington Films is a leading wedding filmmaker with his reputation enhancing rapidly. To be fair we had nothing to worry about. Whilst Tom had a few things that he wanted to include, he trusted Vivid Weddings to provide the complete wedding video.

Emotional Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony was held St Alban’s Church in the couple’s home town of Macclesfield. The church has a grand altar very becoming of the traditional and historic frontage of the Church. The ceremony was very emotional and provided a very beautiful video for the couple.

Unique Wedding Venue

The reception moved on to the beautiful and unique Hilltop Country House in Prestbury, Cheshire. Hilltop Country House has so many different elements that make up the house, that it makes a truly unique venue to hold a wedding reception. It is a family run business and as we have done many weddings there we have built up a rapport. It is truly wonderful to see the great lengths they go to, to make the wedding so special. One of the many highlights of the night was a singing performance by Howard Wing. He get everyone in the party mood with his dulcet tones and cool swing music. He even managed to get everyone into a 100 person Conga with him singing the O’Jays “Love Train”. Not seen that one before.

Final Thoughts

It was an amazing night, and the team at Vivid Weddings were so happy to have been a part of it all. My initial dread was soon washed away by Tom, after meeting the families and of course the lovely bride Laura. It was an amazing experience to be a part of a truly special day. Our best wishes go out to the happy couple.

Tom said the following kind words having just seen the new wedding DVD:

“Loved it. Truly Loved it… Thank you so much, we’re sat here laughing and crying. Thanks again”
